What is Coaching?
Transformational Coaching is session based with a focus om either on personal growth or business growth.
I have a mix of clients, some who want to focus more on lifestyle and well-being and some who are looking to move their business forwards. It can also be a bit of both and all coaching sessions are client driven.
To give you an example of coaching, we may talk about what you want your life to look like and then how you will get there, and what is stopping you or what could stop you. We can break it down into small goals to get to a big goal and it can also be about finding out what makes you happy. This is something we talked a lot about on my last retreat.
I think because life is so busy and hectic for most of us these days, it is really easy to forget what makes us happy. A lot of the time we just go through the motions, doing what needs to be done and getting through the day. Instead of making time in the diary to do something that we enjoy once a day, once every few days, or perhaps once a week. Time flies by and weeks pass, if we sit and think “what have I done this week that I really enjoyed”, or something that really made me smile or giggle, most of us probably can’t think of much.
The beauty of coaching is it takes us to where we need to be which is not always where we think we should be and helps us to refocus on the important things in life
Grief Coaching is a program where we look at where you are on your grief journey and see how you can find ways to adjust and work with your grief to start to rebuild your life, or aspects of your life. We look at the changes which have come from the grief experience and what changes you may need to make to move forward to get to that life you would like again. Grief affects us in so many ways including confidence and self-belief and these are two big areas that come up a lot and that we focus on. We cannot change what has happened but we can rewrite how we live our lives and find some peace and happiness.
Grief coaching is similar to transformational coaching in some ways as we want to move forward to find what makes us happy but sometimes it just needs a bit more time to make those small changes, step by step, to get where you want to be. In this program, I will be with you on your journey supporting you and becoming part of your support network.
